Indian app Developers can publish paid apps in Google play » Google Play News

A good news for all Indian Android app developers, now they can put paid apps on Google play store. As we all know that Android apps development and marketing is a serious business, but Indian developers didn’t had that permeation to charge for their apps in android market (now Google play store).

Now Google included India, in it’s Official list of countries where developers can register as certified Google checkout merchant,(See here) hence Indian can now put paid apps on Google play ( or in the other word now Indian can charge for their apps).

Previously the only monetization option available for Indian app developer was admob ads. Serious developers used to go to a country where Google Checkout merchants were allowed (such as UK, US, Canada)j, and they used to register l local bank account of that country. But from now there is no headache, as of Now Indian can directly sell paid apps in Google play store.
