Google Play Movies Launched in Germany » Google Play News

Google quietly launched Google play movies in German Google play media portal. Now users from Germany can access full length HD movies, they can also rent movies too. the movies and videos will be provided by several German and Hollywood distributers and producers like Universal Pictures, Senator Film, Atlas Film, Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Walt Disney,  Universum Film,Prokino and Wildbunch.

Google play movies can be accessed from mobile, PC, laptop and tablet. older titles from €2.99 and New releases are available from €3.99. Users will get upto 48 hours to view a movie (or video) after renting. users can also request HD version of such movies with  a little fee of €1.

There are already several video on demand providers like iTunes (Apple), maxdome (ProSiebenSat.1), LOVEFiLM (Amazon) and Videoload  present in Germany, but as Google play come on the race, it’s expected that due to competition video rental fees may lower in near future.
